PopCap has revealed that a sequel to the amazing Plants Vs. Zombies will be coming to platforms this July by releasing a short teaser trailer from their Facebook page.
Although no gameplay was revealed, graphics shown or platforms announced it is interesting that the company would develop a sequel to a game which has graced the PC, iOS, Android, XBLA and PSN platforms without doing it all over again for the sequel so we expect the title to be available on a whole host of devices.
The game was originally supposed to be released in late spring of this year so it’s great that PopCap have taken the time out to make sure that fans anxiously waiting for the game are kept informed. The original Plants Vs. Zombies, when released on iOS devices, sold more than 300,000 copies in the first nine days of being on Apple’s App Store, generating more than $1million in gross sales, hopefully PopCap can repeat that in a few months time…
