Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will have a new battle competition taking place later this month, Pokémon.com has announced.
The latest battle competition is called “2015 International Challenge,” and players will face each other in Double Battle matches.
Pokémon will automatically be raised or lowered to level 50 for the competition. However, the Pokémon entered (certain legendaries are banned) must have been raised, caught or hatched from an egg in one of the four main 3DS titles: Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire.
Registration for the event is running from February 19th to February 26th—requires a Pokémon Trainer Club account and a copy of Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire—while 2015 International Challenge will start on February 27th and end on March 1st.
Every participant competing in 2015 International Challenge will receive 2,000 Poké Miles, the battle competition’s rules and regulations page confirmed.
Last week, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo revealed that Pokémon Bank subscribers would be receiving special versions of the three final evolutions of the Johto region starters: Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr.
