Nintendo has made some questionable decisions regarding their popular franchises as of late, but they have made a decent decision to release the physical retail edition of Pokémon Rumble World.
Pokémon Rumble World for the 3DS (also playable on the 2DS) allows players to use a Mii avatar (previously created in the Mii application) to befriend Pokémon and use them to battle others in several stages that span over different areas. These Pokémon in this game differ from normal forms in the other games because they are Toy Pokémon versions. You gain control over the Toy and battle against others to become their friend and use them to battle even more. There are more than 700 Pokémon available to battle and invite to join you in Pokémon Rumble World.
The game originally was a digital-free-to-play game from the eShop. Players have the option of playing though the game for free and then spend real-money to purchase in-game diamonds to buy outfits for your Mii character, unlock stages and upgrade your shopping selection at the castle. The physical version is being sold in stores for $29.99 USD beginning this week. The physical edition of Pokémon Rumble World includes all of the content. It’s a fun and lighter version of the Pokémon franchise and you can try it out today by downloading the free-to play version through the Nintendo eShop or check out videos of it through the official website.
