The North American International’s will be held in Columbus Ohio between July 6-8th. With the World Championships taking place in August between 24-26th in Nashville, Tennessee.
Card game and video game trainers alike will be welcomed to the Greater Columbus Convention Centre to take part in the North American International Championships. With no residency restrictions, players will have a final chance to gain enough Championship Points to be invited to the World Championships. The point-based system allows players to rake up enough points in Pokémon events in the ‘Champion Ship Series’.
Following that the Worlds’ will be taking place at the Music City Center where the global elite of Pokémon will duke it out for their chance at glory. Although it’s not just pride and the title of World Champion on offer, the winners will receive their cut of the $500,000 prize pool.
