Topping off Sony’s homerun of brand new games on offer is Rain—another magical title being developed by SCE Japan Worldwide Studios. I am personally most excited about this brand new adventure by Sony, and you only have to look at the trailer to see why.
The unique world of Rain is immediately apparent. You’ll be playing through this puzzle-adventure game as a young boy, and the situations that surround him are strange, indeed. He finds himself in an “invisible world revealed by rain” and on the search for an invisible girl (we’ve all been there) whose presence can only be seen during this time.
The young boy himself becomes invisible, and you’ll be navigating this land of rain, experiencing platform elements and unique puzzle mechanics. His image can be seen as you step through puddles, knock over objects and when you are simply drenched in the pouring rainfall. We’ve never seen anything quite like this, and the presentation is of a quality that is completely its own. There is a strange sense of tragedy in the trailer, and this is part of the appeal for Rain.
SCE Japan Studios fails to disappoint once again, and check here at Bago for more information on Rain.
