Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption has yet to ride onto PCs, but if an official Microsoft website can be believed, John Marston might just be walking onto Microsoft Windows soon.
The news comes from a Windows’ website page originally reported by NeoGAF user Lazaro, displaying the open-world western action title as compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. It’s presently unknown if the listing was done in error or as an early confirmation. We’ll keep you posted as we hear word.
In the time since Red Dead Redemption‘s landmark release, love for the game abounds, including at publisher Take-Two. Its CEO recently went as far as to list Red Dead Redemption among the company’s “permanent” franchises in lieu of a long theorized sequel, saying: “We love Red Dead too – and are thrilled that so many of you loved John Marston’s tale and are excited for more epic Western action.”
