Square Enix have released samples of 2 remastered tracks from the soundtrack for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age on YouTube, kupo! They include “Streets of Rabanastre” and “The Dalmasca Esterland”.
Final Fantasy X Remaster also has remade versions of the original soundtrack. In addition, Square Enix allowed fans to switch between both the original and the remade versions with its PS4 version. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will also include this feature.
This remaster features the previously Japan-exclusive International Edition that includes a new job system and trial mode, in which players can fight monsters and enemies in 100 successive battles. The job system is an alternative to the license system in the original game, and allows for characters to have a more interesting experience route with specific traits.
The remaster will also have 7.1 surround sound with high definition voicing, the previously mentioned remade music, trophies, the ability to share screenshots and videos, auto save and shortened loading times.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age releases on July 11th for North America and July 13th for Europe exclusively on the PS4.
