It’s always darkest before the dawn, Aaron Eckart’s Harvey Dent once told us – before he went all coin-flipping mad on us, of course. The same can be said of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. It’s been an achingly long time since we heard or saw anything from the movie besides Jason Momoa’s underwater tats and beard. Now we’re finally getting our first officially official trailer, according to director Zack Snyder.
As he announced on Twitter, the film’s first trailer will be debuting April 20th (this coming Monday) for all to see Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill’s superheroes in action. What we’ll see of them, we don’t know just yet, but from the looks of the teaser below, it’s confirmed that there will be tights.

Since its delay, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will escape its previous launch window against Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron by almost a year, releasing this March 26th, 2016 and in IMAX 3D. The superpowered affair stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Jason Momoa as Atlantis’s Aquaman.
