Capcom has revealed the release plans for the latest game in their Resident Evil franchise, Revelations 2. The survival horror title will be sold as four different episodes, with each episode released a week after the previous one. Once all four episodes are out, Capcom will then offer the whole game a a single product. Each episode will cost $5.99 individually whilst buying the whole game will cost $24.99 digitally or $34.99 at retail.
The game has moved away from the charaacters of the first Revelations and will instead star Claire Redfield and Moira Burton (daughter of Resident Evil’s Barry Burton). The story revolves around the pair being kidnapped by a mysterious group and forced to fight against a new type of enemy called the Afflicted.
