You’ve probably played Cellar Door Games’ Rogue Legacy on almost system by now, but the studio’s medieval adventure isn’t done trouncing primeval baddies just yet. Cellar Door’s now confirmed that the 2D platformer is coming to Xbox One. Eventually.
The news comes to us via a message the studio’s official Twitter account after being asked by fans just if/when Rogue Legacy would make it to Xbox One:
@infamy__ It's coming.

The studio was scant on details, however. Upon being asked, Cellar Door could only say that the game was coming “sometime-ish.”
@pengy_gamer It'll be coming sometime-ish.

Rogue Legacy sees players survive procedurally-generated castle to explore until you inevitably reach your death. At this point, your adventure continues as your character’s child – which can mean a change of class or other additional quirk thrown into the mix.
The game was originally released for Microsoft Windows and OnLive’s cloud gaming platform June 27th, 2013 and for Macintosh and Linux versions of the game were released on Oct. 16th that same year. Its PlayStation 4, 3, and Vita versions became available on July 29th, 2014. For now, we’ll be gaming away on its Xbox One version whenever Cellar Doors is ready.
