Seth Rogen has called his animated comedy, Sausage Party, “really really really dirty” and audiences have been anticipating it for quiet a while. Now it looks like the special few attending this month’s SXSW in Austin, Texas will get to see a Work-In-Progress cut of the film.
Rogen’s latest, which features a sausage that falls out of a shopping cart and must find a way to get back on the shelf before the 4th of July sale, will join 2014’s Neighbors by premiering at the highly attended festival and will spark more interest after the successful showing of comedies like the aforementioned Neighbors, as well as Trainwreck and Bridesmaids.
Featuring the astounding cast of Rogen, Paul Rudd, Anders Holm, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Edward Norton, Nick Kroll, Bill Hader, among many others, Sausage Party sounds like the next comedy to get excited about. While it premieres at this year’s SXSW, us regular people will have to wait until this summer.
