38 Studios, as has been reported, has had a lot of trouble including being unable to pay wages or repay loans to laying off staff and now, Curt Schilling, who invested in 38 Studios may lose $50 million of his own money over it.
Ouch.
His finger is pointed at officials who he blames for causing such turmoil. According to my friend, who works with personal loans for poor credit, he especially blames Lincoln Chafee, governor of Rhode Island, over ‘devastating’ comments made that Schilling believes, drove away investors resulting in the company now being staff-less and the property of Rhode Island. There’s still a hefty $112 million in unpaid loans left.
