Despite both being made by NetherRealm, I was kinda hoping we wouldn’t see any Mortal Kombat characters in Injustice: Gods Among Us. Mortal Kombat got its chance to shine back in 2011 and Injustice felt like a game that needed to stand on its own with its own set of characters. However, everyone’s favorite MK character, Scorpion, has been announced to be coming to Injustice: Gods Among Us as another DLC character.
Scorpion follows behind Lobo and Batgirl and will cost you 400 MS Points/$5 on the Xbox 360 and PSN. A specific release date hasn’t been revealed, nor was the Wii U version of the game mentioned.
Below, you can check out the new Injustice trailer for Scorpion (from IGN), which has both Ed Boon and Jim Lee (Co-Publisher to DC Entertainment), who put in a bit of effort to redesign Scorpion for the DC Universe.
