Agent 47’s big-screen debut might not have set the world on fire (to say the least), but rest assured, he’s going to be traveling it this winter in style. Developer IO Interactive’s shared yet another day in the life of Mr. Tall, Bald, and Creepy on the job and it’s killer. Literally.
This year’s Hitman sends 47 back to basics: hiding, eavesdropping, bludgeoning guards, the works. As shown off in the video below, the choice to get in and get out or simply bring the house down is yours to make, but paying the price of the later won’t make it easy on yourself.
Our preview of 47th’s globe-trotting brings us to one of the game’s earlier levels involving France’s fashion runways as well as one of your first targets: an agent of IAGO, an independent assassin agency that’s not on your own client’s Christmas card list.
Hitman hits Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC this Dec. 8th. Its price point is the standard $59.99, but its ambiguous plans for releasing content post-release is rather convoluted, as IO’s attempted to explain. And that includes in-game chicken costumes, alas.
