In the month since Robin William’s untimely passing, the Internet’s been flooded with tributes, memories, and reflections on the iconic film and television star. Gamers have been the latest to remember him with a recent petition passing Blizzard Inc.’s approval to include Williams in one of his favorite game series, World of Warcraft.
Wowhead reports that one of its users, Haldur, has uncovered Blizzard’s very tribute to the late actor and comedian in the series’ ongoing beta for Warlords of Draenor, a genie on an island off the coast of Talador.
As seen down below, the genie resembles something of a fiercer, purple version of the actor’s genie in Disney’s Aladdin. The genie is reportedly summoned by a wayward lamp. The genie then pops out, nonsensically exclaiming, “Infinite cosmic power!” and “Itty bitty living space,” before popping back in.
An ship-sized, cracked egg can also be seen nearby as well as a collection of stuffed animals, assumed to be tributes to the alien egg ship and the nanny’s in both Mork and Mindy and Mrs. Doubtfire, respectively.
According to the results of the website’s data mining attempts, two new character models were also discovered, including a man in blazing red overalls akin to Williams’ titular role as Mork from Ork, and a woman dressed as a young (and distinctly more feminine) Mrs. Doubtfire.
Warlords of Draenor releases November 13th. Tell us: Will you be getting ti? Plan on paying Robin Williams’ genie a visit?
