Activision have announced that the Skylanders franchise generated more than $1.5 billion in revenue since the series was first introduced to the public in 2011. The milestone was confirmed as part of Activision Blizzard’s quarterly results for the period that ended June 30th.
This means that the Skylanders franchise managed to raise $1 billion in lifetime sales since Activision announced the previous lifetime sales in February. A very impressive feat by any stretch of the imagination!
The next entry into the Skylanders franchise will be Skylanders Swap Force and is currently planned to release in “fall 2013”. Will you be helping contribute to the next record in the franchise?
