Nintendo, via their Twitter account, have revealed plans to discuss the next Smash Bros., Mario Kart, a 3D Mario and more at their next Nintendo Direct before E3 2013 officially kicks off.

With Nintendo not having an on stage press conference this year, they’ve opted to have a number of Nintendo Directs, with the first taking place last week and revealing a couple of big announcements like: Sonic Lost World, a partnership with SEGA and a team up with Best Buy, in which some of their E3 titles will be playable at select Best Buy stores.
It’s been a long time since we last got any news regarding a Smash Bros. sequel. Perhaps we’ll get more than a couple of screenshots to hold us over.
