Sony has confirmed to next-generation hungry gamers that they need not to worry about the possible pricing of next-generation titles hitting the PS4 as they will be priced at the same price-point that PS3-era titles are: $59.99 in North America.
This news emerges as a Sony representative spoke to Shacknews saying:
“We have announced the pricing for our first-party lineup of PS4 launch and launch window games. All four titles, Killzone: Shadow Fall, DriveClub, Knack and inFamous: Second Son are all $59.99”.
Whilst this news is good for gamers hungry for next-generation content, as we said in our story covering the price of Xbox One first-party titles, this isn’t confirmation that third party publishers (such as Activision and Electronic Arts) will charge the same price for their next-generation titles also.
It’s a matter of just sitting back and waiting we suppose…
