Koelnmesse has revealed via its Facebook page that Sony will indeed be featured in this year’s Gamescom after initial reports suggested otherwise. Earlier this week, Guido Alt of Sony Computer Entertainment Germany had stated “We are still negotiating with Koelnmesse. What I can say is that we did not sign a contract so far.”
So now, we assume, that contract has indeed been signed. Skipping out on the Cologne event, however, will be Sega and Nintendo, the former citing ‘business’ reasons and the latter mentioning it will have a representative present to discuss the Wii U. THQ is still considering whether to participate or not.
