Although Sony has stated over and over again that it will not be discount the PlayStation Vita handheld system in anywhere else other than Japan, it seems almost ironic that most US sony stores have began to discount the price of the 3G model.
Some retailers are claiming that this model is being phased out by Sony, which would explain the reason why it is being dramatically reduced from the usual $299.99 to $199.97, more than $100 worth of savings. The 3G model of the console comes with an 8GB memory card and a voucher for a free game (if you sign up for data coverage).
Are you tempted to pick up a Vita for this price?
