Square Enix has reconfirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will be released this year exclusively for the PS3. They have also revealed a whole bunch of new screenshots for the game, some of which you can see above.
This newest HD collection features the PS2 game Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix and the PSP game Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix. This will be the first time that the Final Mix versions of these titles will be released in the West as they were Japanese exlusives when they originally came out. The collection will also include the DS game Kingdom Hearts Re:coded but not in playable form. Instead the events of the game will be displayed through HD cutscenes. The director of the 2.5 Remix, Nomura, has also hinted that he is hiring the original voice actors to create brand new cinematics for the game, including one scene that will tie Kingdom Hearts Re:coded to the events of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.
You can find the rest of the new screenshots over at the PlayStation Blog.
