The force was with Star Wars Battlefront fans Tuesday, when EA confirmed that the game will have its gameplay debut at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim on April 17th 2015.
Gameplay will be shown live to gamers around the world at 10:30 a.m. PST, as well as those who are in attendance on that day.
On the Star Wars EA blog, the company affirmed to its fans that DICE is “zeroing in on the final details for [their] appearance at Star Wars Celebration.” They also confirmed that they will be ready to reveal more details.
Star Wars Battlefront was last shown at a GameStop Employee Event, and was met with “a superb ovation.” Perhaps we will see the same gameplay with a few improved tweaks next month. The last public appearance for Star Wars Battlefront was at E3 2014 with a behind-the-scenes video.
The Star Wars Celebration is a yearly celebration of the beloved series and will host stars such as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens director, JJ Abrams, Mark Hamill (who played Luke Skywalker), and LucasFilm President, Kathleen Kennedy.
