Original Story: As advertised, the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer is now live on the iTunes store. The trailer is now simultaneously playing in select theaters across North America. Check the listings we provided to you earlier in the week and see if the trailer is playing in a theater near you.
If you’d like to not be spoiled and see the trailer exclusively on the big screen yourself, then put on your Friday best and drive down to your theater now. If not, then head to the iTunes site right now and watch the official trailer that’s officially begun a new chapter in the historic space opera.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens sees the return of Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher in their titular roles of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. Joining them are newcomers Adam Driver, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Domhall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Lupita N’yongo, Gwendoline Christie, and Max Von Sydow.
The J.J. Abrams directed sci-fi epic is poised for release on Dec. 18th, 2015.
