Valve is ready to bring it’s Steam service to the big screen (officially) with it’s new Big Picture feature. It’s basically the same Steam client we’re all used to, but redesigned for that nice big TV we all know you have. New features include a first-person browser and the Daisywheel that makes typing with a controller easier. More updates are set to release in the future as Big Picture is (hopefully) used by more and more people as time passes.
The beta for Big Picture starts later today, but you can find system requirements and setup instructions here and here. Shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
