The story of Styx the goblin will continue sometime next year. The sequel to Styx: Master of Shadows, titled Styx: Shards Of Darkness, and has been in development for 6 months already. Today, developer Cyanide Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive have shared the first screenshot of the game, along with the a few details about the stealth sequel.
Styx: Shards Of Darkness takes place after the first game; Following the fall of Akenash tower, Styx has to infiltrate a Dark Elf city called Körangar. New and improved game mechanics will help the player to achieve this when taking control of Styx, with corner grappling, rope climbing, and zip-wiring with Styx’s knife to name a few.
Running in Unreal Engine 4, Styx: Shards of Darkness is set to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year.
