Originally released in 2010 for the Xbox 360, the infamously challenging Super Meat Boy is finally making its way to a Nintendo platform for the first time.
In October of last year, Team Meat teased on their site that a Wii U version of the game was on its way. As reported in October of last year, the following message was posted:
“To the fans we’re still excluding I’ll leave you with this . . . Wii haven’t forgotten about U.”
With the game arriving soon, we begin to wonder if any new features will be added to the Wii U version. Off-TV Play would certainly be a welcome addition, to free the TV screen as countless hours are spent struggling to conquer the meaty campaign. The game was recently re-released on PS4 with new music from different artists than the original game, due to not being able to secure the rights. Let us know if you plan on playing Super Meat Boy on your Wii U.
