The FFVII Remake Demo has been released today on the PlayStation Store. Revealed on Twitter earlier today, fans can now download the demo and try the game for themselves. Featuring a mix of mechanics between various titles; this game will serve to be a fresh new experience for those looking to purchase the upcoming title on March 31st.
The Demo, covering the entirety of the first Bomber Mission (for those who aren’t aware, Cloud joins Barret and AVALANCHE to destroy a reactor containing Mako energy, the life force of the planet), has three difficulties to choose from. This is done to cater to players of all levels with fast-paced combat. Fluid controls allow for easy switching of attack plans and switching to other party members as you battle through the Mako reactor.
FFVII Demo Out Today
Easy to pick up and play, the FFVII Remake Demo allows for a quick experience that’s more than just a hack and slash game. Proper management of your ATB gauge will allow you to turn the tide when things are going bad and potentially stack the odds in your favor. Further still is the Limit Break mechanic, which serves as your character’s ultimate attack.
Explore the dark, dimly lit pipelines and corridors of the Shinra Reactor; fighting your way through groups of Shinra soldiers and battle mechs. However, you’re not alone. Take control of Barret, battling alongside Cloud as you progress further into the reactor, culminating in a multi-stage boss fight at the Reactor’s depths.
Utilizing the tools given to you, set the bomb, and escape the reactor before the timer expires. Then, make your way out defeating everything in your path going in and out. However, the Guard Scorpion awaits deep inside, guarding the reactor. You must defeat it to complete your assignment and start the escape.
Download the demo now and experience the faithful recreation of the 1997 classic’s first mission.
