Robin Williams may have passed on this week, but you will still have four more chances to see him on screen. The eccentric actor certainly had a busy schedule having already starred in two films this year, The Face of Love and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. He did have several projects he was working on before his death that won’t see the light of day now (Mrs. Doubtfire 2), but there were a few films he completed before passing.
The most notable of these films is Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb having just wrapped in May with a trailer debuting a few weeks ago. He will be reprising his role as the model-come-to-life President Roosevelt. The third film in the Night at the Museum trilogy will hit theaters this holiday season on December 19, 2014.
Merry Friggin’ Christmas is an indie Christmas comedy in which Williams plays father to Joel McHale on a road trip. It will be due out on November 7, 2014.
Next year we’ll see Williams’ final animated role as a cartoon dog in the live-action/animation hybrid comedy Absolutely Anything.
Finally, Williams will play a married man picking up a gay hustler in the drama Boulevard. No word yet on the distribution date, but it has already played at the Tribeca film festival.
