You might’ve been wondering where the galaxy’s favorite smugger (you know, the one you can’t tell the odds too?) was going to fit into Disney’s new Star Wars universe. The answer? Right where the action is, of course and with that same walking Wookie carpet in tow.
For the next four days going from now until this Sunday, all things Star Wars are being celebrated at Disney’s home base of Anaheim, California in what’s being dubbed as the aptly named “Star Wars: Celebration” 2015. Inaugurating the event was arguably the show’s holy grail from the get go – a second helping of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Fans at the show and on the Internet were all treated to a second trailer of the J.J. Abrams-directed blockbuster sequel as it was revealed courtesy of the show’s live stream. Among the newest highlights we get are some fairly big, panoramic shots of the galaxy at large this time, Tatooine again being chief among them. We also get to see Daisy Ridley and John Boyega’s characters together onscreen, a few new Stormtrooper variants and, of course, a fleeting glimpse at our own Indiana Jones Han Solo in all his roguish regalia complete with his good ‘ole Chewie.
As the entire world will probably tell you by now, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be debuting this December 17th starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis. Also starring are series originals Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford.
