The concert The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses will make its European debut when it arrives in London in May.
Debuting at the Hammersmith Apollo on 23rd May and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is a musical tribute to the much beloved Zelda series of games. The concert has already seen success in the USA and is now set to be performed at several European venues.
The show features live orchestral performances of musical pieces from a range of games in the Zelda franchise, including The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and more, as according to the press release, the Symphony of the Goddesses title refers to “the four-movement symphony recounting the classic storylines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. ”
The new tour has followed on the heels of the successful 2011 tour The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony, and is produced by Jason Michael Paul Productions, a company which has previously produced other video game-themed concerts such as Dear Friends – Music From Final Fantasy.
