Thomas, Chris, John, Laura, and the rest of Mike Bithell’s quadrilateral friends are coming to the newest generation of game consoles this fall, Bithell announced this week.
Starring the character of its namesake, Thomas Was Alone sees the intrepid (and at times hapless) little square of Thomas, a sentient block who begins a journey of self-discovery as do his blocky mates with whom he succeeds in solving various puzzles.
Narrated by British comedian and Assassin’s Creed’s Shawn Hastings, Danny Wallace, the game was released to Playstation 3 and Vita courtesy of publisher Curve Studios (Proteus, The Swapper) following its release on PC and Mac OSX.

Curve will subsequently be bringing the game to Xbox One, Wii U, and Playstation 4 the same week sometime this November. The studio released a short “making of” behind Thomas Was Alone‘s new-gen debut:
