EA held an investor call today where Peter Moore announced that Respawn’s multiplayer shooter, Titanfall, sold 925,000 copies during the month of March.
These reported numbers are based off of March’s NPD numbers so therefore they only reflect retail copies. Not included would be sales from outside the U.S., or digital copies sold through Xbox Live and Origin.
The Xbox One and PC versions of Titanfall were released on March 11. The Xbox 360 version was released less than a month later on April 8. On the conference call, Moore said the 360 version is “off to a great start as well.” It was also announced during the call by EA CEO Andrew Wilson that they have signed a new publishing agreement with Respawn Entertainment which will “bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide.”
