Players who have been waiting for a new JRPG to come to the Wii U will be very busy this summer playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
According to the Press Release from Nintendo, ATLUS has developed a game that includes “…a deep battle system inspired by both the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei series imbued with a J-Pop twist, and includes real-life locations in Tokyo”.
A special edition will launch on the same day as the game. The Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE special edition set will include the game itself, and artbook (5×8), a soundtrack CD (with six songs), six song cards, and a sticker sheet of chibi-style characters. This bundle will be sold for $79.99 USD and will include the DLC codes for the planed downloadable content (5 in total). If you purchase the game by itself, each DLC pack will cost $1.99 each.
Nintendo will have a demo of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE available to play at their booth at PAX East in Boston. PAX East is taking place April 22-24th.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is on the Wii U and will launch on June 24. The special edition boxed set will also launch on June 24th but can only be purchased through Amazon or GameStop.
