Batman: Arkham Knight has had a lot of content arrive in its season pass, with more on the way starting today. Players who have already purchased the season pass will have access to the 2008 Tumbler Batmobile made famous by the Christopher Nolan films, as well as the original outfit players used in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Both pieces of content will be available at $1.99 for those who do not have the season pass.
Additionally, the trailer released today shows a little bit of next week’s DLC which focuses on Nightwing’s story missions and a new challenge pack. According to the press release for the update, Nightwing’s DLC will be centered on a lockdown at the Gotham City Police Department as players will have to try and stop Penguin from escaping the station. Taking place after the events of Arkham Knight, the trailer doesn’t really showcase anything that sets this apart from other story DLC besides Nightwing being the main character. Reception to the DLC has been fairly mixed, and this doesn’t necessarily look like a step up from the previous fare.
This is only the update for September as Rocksteady and Warner Bros are still dedicated to that six-month season pass window, so there will be more DLC on the way, including some Catwoman DLC in the update for October.
