With the Wii U struggling it was very important that Super Mario 3D World performed well in this week’s UK All-Format chart for Nintendo but as it launched on the same day as the PS4, this was always going to be difficult.
Super Mario 3D World, tipped as a game of the year contender, failed to break into the top ten, instead placing at a disappointing 14th, losing out to PS4 Knack which placed 13th.
Elsewhere in the charts we see that Killzone: Shadow Fall entered the charts at number 4 whilst Call of Duty: Ghosts leap-frogged FIFA 14 to retain its number 1 position which it has been fighting back to attain in recent weeks.
This weeks UK All Format Chart is:
- Call of Duty: Ghosts (Previously 2nd)
- FIFA 14 (Previously 1st)
- Battlefield 4 (No Change)
- Killzone: Shadow Fall (New Entry)
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (Previously 4th)
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (No Change)
- Grand Theft Auto V (Previously 8th)
- Need For Speed: Rivals (Previously 13th)
- Just Dance 2014 (Previously 14th)
- Batman: Arkham Origins (Previously 16th)
