In a business move which we’re not sure if it has something to do with Mother’s Day or not, UK supermarket giant Asda has cut £50.00 off both versions of the Nintendo Wii U, just in times for Mothers Day… if she’s into that kind of thing anyway.
The premium (a.k.a: The colour black) 32GB version with Nintendo Land is now £249.00 and can be ordered by clicking these very words now!
The core (a.k.a: The colour white) 8GB version of the console, remember that it doesn’t include any games, now costs £199.00 and can be ordered by clicking these (different but similar) words now!
Since the console was released late in 2012, the price of the console has dropped massively. At launch, many retailers were selling the premium version at £299.99 which, as you can see from above, has come down in price in such a way that you are effectively being rewarded for waiting with a free game, if you wish to calculate the maths like that.
