Valve have announced a new scheme for Steam gamers through ‘Steam Family Sharing’ which allows both friends and families to share their libraries of Steam games across PC, Mac and Linux. The service will be launching through a “limited” beta programme next week.
Speaking of the programme, Anna Sweet who works at Valve said:
“Our customers have expressed a desire to share their digital games among friends and family members, just as current retail games, books, DVDs, and other physical media can be shared. Family Sharing was created in direct response to these user requests.”
Would you make use of the feature?
