It would seem that Valve’s Greenlight, the feature that lets people decide what games actually make it onto the Steam store, is a success. 10 new titles will be moving on from Greenlight to release on Steam at various times and the Half-Life fan remake is one of them. How cool is that? That $100 fee that was implemented not too long ago doesn’t appear to be hindering the process too much. So hopefully, this is the start of more games to come.
The list of games that the community selected are as follows:
- Black Mesa
- Cry of Fear
- Dream
- Heroes & Generals
- Kenshi
- McPixel
- No More Room in Hell
- Project Zomboid
- Routine
- Towns
“The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight. Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon.” Anna Sweet – Valve
