Bethesda have released details of the voice cast set to star in their up and coming survival horror game, The Evil Within.
Featuring Jackie Earle Haley, aka Rorschach, as the games lead antagonist Ruvik, the title will also feature Anson Mount of AMC’s Hell On Wheels as protagonist Sebastian Castellanos and Jennifer Carpenter of Dexter as Juli Kidman, Sebastian’s Junior Detective partner.
Speaking about the voice cast, the games director Shinji Mikami had this to say: “One of the most crucial elements to any successful survival horror game is the setting and sound, which includes the depth and authenticity of the voice acting. We brought together a great cast of experienced actors to help ensure that players really believe our characters’ emotions and the tension they feel in every scene.”
To accompany the announcement, Bethesda have also released a short video featuring all three of the above mentioned actors, which can be seen by clicking the video above.
Slated for an October release, The Evil Within, which is being developed by Mikami’s Tango Gameworks, will be available to buy on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
