Gary Whitta, writer for Telltale’s The Walking Dead, recently appeared on an episode of IGN’s Up at Noon and dropped a few tidbits about additional content for the series that would release before the highly anticipated season two.
“I can tell you what you already know, which is season two is coming. There’s not much to say because it really is very early…it’s a way off,” said Whitta. “But, knowing that it’s a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead…there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two.”
Whitta notes that whatever the developer has in store will ‘make the wait for season two slightly less agonizing.’
Really, I don’t mind the wait between seasons, as part of me is still recovering from the previous season’s finale and the choices I had to make. I wouldn’t mind having some new characters to get attached to (and lose) while I pass the time for the series’ next season.
