We’ve got another title set to hit the PlayStation 4 next year, and it’s none other that CD Projekt RED’s recently revealed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
“After yesterday’s PlayStation Meeting we can finally promise: The Witcher 3 is coming to the PlayStation 4. The new hardware gives us the opportunity to create something great. We are able to work with the new console from its birth and this allows our in-house REDengine 3 to push the graphical limits of what the PlayStation hardware can display,” said Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt RED studio.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is said to be the last chapter in Geralt of Rivia’s story, and although it is a sequel, it can also serve as a standalone story, meaning that players new and old will both be able to enjoy everything it has to offer. It will combine the freedom of an open world, free-roaming environment with a non-linear story to make it ‘a real RPG fan’s dream come true.’
