World of Tanks Blitz, currently available for Android and iOS devices, is soon to roll onto Microsoft’s latest operating system, developer Wargaming have announced.
The mobile spin-off of the popular tank combat simulator, World of Tanks, released for iOS in May 2013 and for Android in June 2014, offering 7 vs 7 tank warfare on the go.
“World of Tanks Blitz has gathered a vibrant community worldwide, and we are excited to take advantage of the technology and gaming platform provided by Microsoft to broaden its reach even further,” CEO Victor Kislyi said. “With the addition of Windows 10 support, we’ll turn World of Tanks Blitz into a true cross-platform experience, expanding in-game opportunities for our player community and opening up the Wargaming.net universe to a new and vast audience.”
The free-to-play team-based game boasts more than 190 iconic tanks from countries such as Germany, Great Britain, and the US, with light, medium, heavy, and tank destroyer classes of armoured vehicles. Each tank has varying strengths, weaknesses, and effective strategies, offering in-depth tactical tank warfare gameplay.
