Xbox, Microsoft’s big adventure into the gaming scene. To be quite honest, it looks like it’s paid off rather well, because since then, several IPs have been born from the console, such as Halo, Forza Motorsport, and Gears of War. It’s close to the 20th anniversary of Xbox, and it’s come a long way. And only last year, the Xbox Series X was released to the world, bringing along the next generation of consoles.
To celebrate the occasion, Microsoft is releasing a bunch of new merchandise to go along with it. Xbox also put out an announcement that breaks down what’s coming as well. Let’s talk about it, shall we?
Celebrate 20 Years of Xbox With A New Controller and Headset
Microsoft is releasing a brand new controller and headset to go along with the celebration. To quote Microsoft’s announcement piece directly, they said this: “November 15 will mark 20 years of gaming together! Fans helped shape what Xbox is today and we can’t wait to see what the next 20 years will bring.”
“Today, we celebrate our history together with the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Stereo Headset – launching November 15 and available for pre-order now. We were inspired by our favorite memories together from the last 20 years and created not one, but two unique accessories to commemorate this milestone.”
To make it a bit more concise; on November 15th. a brand-new controller and a brand-new headset will be available for purchase, and they’re also available for pre-order right now on Xbox’s website.
