The Nintendo 2DS has come in all sorts of colors and bundles since its release, but now it’s even cheaper. The company’s 3D-less handheld is coming down by $30 in the U.S. from $129 to just $99, as it was announced today on Twitter.
Don’t run out to the store just yet, though. The system goes on sale at its new price this Aug. 30th.

The new price tag also comes with a digital code for 2012’s Mario Kart 7. The 2DS further has access to all of the same online and digital functionality as the 3DS, minus its 3D mode.

Being only $99 that’s a great deal for someone who was on the fence about playing 3DS games! I’m surprised it’s getting that much of a price drop.
