Earlier today, Rebellion announced they’ll be releasing Zombie Army Trilogy in early 2015 across multiple systems. PC Gamers might be familiar with Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1 and 2. The trilogy will feature new “recut and remastered” versions of those games, plus the final installment and a new horde mode. Rebellion is calling this the “ultimate package for fans of adrenaline-fuelled gunplay and harrowing intensity.”
Rebellion will be self-publishing Zombie Army Trilogy and it will be a downloadable title on PC, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Game Store. A retail version will be made available as well.
According to the press release, below is what gamers should expect from the trilogy package:
- 15 missions over three campaigns across “the irradiated, demon-infested ruins” of WWII Germany.
- Five horde maps, played alone or with 2-4 online co-op.
- Eight playable heroes, including four new female characters, and 25 iconic weapons and traps.
- Fight Undead Super Soldiers, Armoured Skeletons, Zombie Snipers, Chainsaw Elites, Fire Demons and Hitler.
- The infamous X-Ray Kill Cam is back.
- All three games will be displayed in beautiful 1080p.
According to Steam, they have the game scheduled to release on March 6th at a price of $44.99. For PC gamers who already own the first two games, you’ll be able to get the trilogy at 60% off through April 3rd, at a price of $17.99.
