If you own a PlayStation Vita, or have been holding off for that killer game to justify buying the system, you are in luck. Activision has released the trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified.
Neven Dravinski, the game’s producer says of the Nihilistic Software developed title, says; “One of Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified’s compelling features is the fact that you can take the established gameplay everyone knows and loves and bring it to the PS Vita,” This means that familiar aspects of the game like Create-a-class, Perks, and Prestige Levels will all be present.
The single-player campaign will offer covert missions to bridge the gap between the two Black Ops console titles. The multiplayer will be available for eight player matches over a Wi-Fi connection. “We’ll have a variety of game modes and maps, including some that are custom made for PS Vita and others that leverage fan favorites from the Black Ops series, but tailor made for PS Vita.” So far 4v4 Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Drop Zone have been confirmed. Other modes will be available as well, although little is known about what they will be.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is set to release this November. If you don’t already own a Vita (I know I love mine) you may now have a reason to pick up Sony’s new handheld. Sony is also working on a limited-edition PS Vita hardware bundle that will feature the game, although that has yet to be confirmed.
