Hit premium cable channel, Epix, is now being made available through PlayStation 3 consoles, giving PlayStation gamers instant access to more than 3000 streamable movies at the touch of an X button.
The app, which can now be downloaded onto the PlayStation 3 console is, of course, free to download initially and activates a 14-day trial so that you can get the taste of films such as The Avengers and The Hunger Games whilst also (if you so wish) allowing you to watch concerts, boxing matches and even comedy shows.
If you are a PlayStation Plus member then you will also be able to stream one movie per week for free, regardless if you are an Epix subscriber or not.
The only requirement is that you use an authentication code from a television provider. Sony also announced that an Epix application for PlayStation Vita will be available “soon”, whenever that is.
