Fuse, Insomniac and EA’s new third-person co-op shooter, is getting a demo release ahead of it’s full launch on May 28th (31st in Europe). The demo will allow for 4-player co-op over an internet connection or 2-player via local split screen, but it should be noted that you will need an Origin account in order to play online.
Each of the four playable characters –Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble and Naya Deveraux– will be available for players to play as in the demo, as they are tasked with finding a Fuse source in a snowy secret weapon depot.
“When it comes to Fuse, the biggest thing we’ve noticed when sharing it with others for the first time is that playing is believing,” said Ted Price, CEO and founder of Insomniac Games.
I lost a considerable amount of interest in Fuse after it was changed from OverStrike, but it would only be fair to at least try out the demo. Now…to find some other people to play with.
