CVG has learnt that Nintendo could be planning to ship a new 3D Mario title for its struggling next-generation console by October 2013 after talking with executive-level retail representatives.
You may be scratching your head whilst reading this however, claiming that you have already heard rumblings of a 3D Mario Wii U game (which let’s be honest, doesn’t come as a shock at all) before and you would be right in doing so. The game was confirmed to be in development during a Nintendo Direct presentation in January this year although CVG has learnt that the game will appear in a playable form at this year’s E3 conference.
It is worth reminding you that Nintendo will not be hosting a presentation at this years event but will be having a stand so this is entirely possible although we may get to see the game earlier if Nintendo host an E3-special Nintendo Direct presentation before/during E3 month which is what many expect.
