Sony has updated PlayStation 3 owners with news that a fix is coming to those that find themselves with ‘bricked’ PlayStation 3 systems, after updating it with the latest software update, version 4.45.
“We have identified the issue related to the PlayStation 3 software update (version 4.45) that impacted a small number of PS3 systems earlier this week,” reads the updated forum post. “A new PS3 system software update is planned to be released on June 27 that resolves the issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.”
So, hey, it’s only a week you have to wait to use your PlayStation 3, should you be one of those unfortunate enough to have an unusable system. It’s not like there aren’t thousands of other things for you to do in the meantime, right?
